Lesbian Resource Center in Seattle -- We are a community-based organization committed to advancing the status of lesbians by combatting oppression and by promoting empowerment, visibility, and social change. Established in Seattle, Washington in 1971, the Lesbian Resource Center is the oldest organization of its kind in the country.
Married Women Who Love Women -- A resource and support site for married lesbian and bisexual women. A few years ago when I was coming out (at 40) I felt so alone. But it turns out there are a lot of married women who realize their lesbian tendencies late in life. It’s just that most of them are hiding. It’s a very scary thing when your whole life with your family and children and everything could come crashing around you. This site is for them.
